Helix DSP - please help!

I received the file but again no details... Waiting to hear back on how to load it. You know?

First, load a previously adjusted setup into the selected memory by clicking with the right hand mouse button on the respective box under “Setup A, ..., D”. This opens a window in which you can retrieve the corresponding .afp file from a chosen location. A setup is automatically active and audible as soon as it is loaded.

Thanks mate.. I did that, selected 'A' and loaded the file... sounds even worse than it is stock (I didn't think it was possible).

The file for some reason has all speakers muted except the tweeters. When I tick to un-muted them it just sounds... well as I say worse than when not tuned.

I then hit reset.. then tried to load several times more and each time everything was muted but tweeters.

So I just hit reset and am still running it with no configuration as that sounds better than with the file loaded.

Possibly it's the amp that's not configured?? but again I'm struggling to get support.

I received one email saying "sorry we've been busy" here's the file with no other instructions.

I'll email them again.... if someone could also call them and remind them about me that would be great.

Mathematics do you mind reminding them they have a customer who has really had a rough time of it??

he is aware of you having issues. i just heard back from him. he said he can't do anything until later. can you post screen shots of the loaded dap configuration? the crossover/eq page as well as the input/output configuration...

It's great he's aware.. just be better if he actually replied or acknowledged it. Not having a go.. but later?!? it's been 3x months and they've sold me something that isn't configured and I can't use.

I wish I knew... the speakers came unbranded and I can't get hold of Musicar to confirm as you can seen.

I read many, many good reports especially about their customer service before I went with them so yes seems rare... maybe I pissed them off?

Makes it much worse being in another country where I can't just get on the phone and tell them what I think of their service.

I sent two emails this week, asking for a list of my componets and of course assistance... still no reply.

Here are the screens after the load. Notice the front mids are set to mute which seems odd??

Several of your crossover points are backwards.

How many inputs are you using ? Sub remote can be checked Off (unless you have the remote). inputs should read the same across - Front L full/Front R full.

I've just got front splits and two subs with rear speakers deleted.

So 6 inputs. I don't have a remote.

Sorry so what changes should I make? I take it mute should be unchecked as well??

How about a picture of the amp
specifically how the gains and crossovers are
set on on the amp.
Did your installer do any adjustments to it.

So you have all 6 INputs and OUTputs connected then ? Each should read the same straight across.

Tweeter is high passed at 3225 but low passed at 201 .. it shouldn't even be audible right now. cut the LP at 16k or above and take it from there. Link them (A+B) when doing so since it seems your right one is also that way, but LP'ed at 20.

Same with your woofers .. not sure how audible they are, or even can be with those settings.

They aren't.. Only sound comes from the tweets.

I'll get pictures from the amp.

If anyone is able to call musicar and ask them WTF that would be great.

Not sure how there is sound out of the tweeters even. Can you send me your file ? don@unexpectedcreations.com

My understanding was that Musicar have all these specific components specifically tuned for the E92 cabin??
