these wheels are "championship edition" bbs lm. if you look at the bbs lm type, it say type 165, that is bbs's part number for what kind of car, specs (offset, width, size of the wheel, bolt pattern and color) if you go to bbs-usa.com and look up the "DBK" version the part part number is type 165.

I think bbs-usa just made it simple by using the color of the face.

Actually, Long, the 165 pertains to size of wheel only. All 19X8.5 BBS LM wheels are 165. All 19X9.5 are 166. All 19X10 are 148.

The number pertains to size only -- not color. Your attached picture shows a bunch of different colors for 165 in your picture, which means that 165 cannot relate to a specific color.

As a result, I would bet that Jon's wheels are LM 165 on the front and LM 148 on the rear (based on size alone). Jon, please confirm.

My BBS LM wheels are 19X8.5 in front (165). My rears are 19X9.5 (166).

Championship wheels cannot be identified by the LM numbers. Only the serial numbers (BXXXXX) can define the wheels -- for sure.

I can't speak for the rest of the crew, but I've already got LMs. I don't need another set of generic LMs.

That said, I might be interested in picking up some CE LMs.

I'm shopping for a second bimmer right now. I'd need a second pair of wheels for that car.

When you get some free time, get me those serial numbers. I know you're busy. I'm patient.
