It's not even hard to find a job that pays more than minimum wage. Unless you're still in HS, you can do better than that. Places like Best Buy and banks pay around $9-10 starting.

I am EXACTLY in the same shoes as you are, i need a car for college and w/o a job my mom can't afford it on her own.

If anyone has any openings or knows anyone that can get me a job in the san fernando valley area, i'd be willing to pay you couple of hundred bucks if you can get me hired. I really need this. Only previous experience that i have is that i worked at whole foods for couple of months, i m good with computers & photography. Not trying to jack your thread bro, if something let me know and i ll delete my post.
