Harbor Freight constantly sells a model like this (sans the leds) for $59. You'll need to find the coupon which is available in nearly any car magazine. I have two of them and they work just fine.

I have a OTC Aluminum Racing Jack 2-Ton in my house they usually go for ~250
3.5" min clearance
Lightweight, lifetime warranty, and dual pump is what got my attention.
If you need to go lower I would suggest buying a service jack because they have min. clearance of 2.5" or less

HERE is a thread with a link for a $90 jack from Costco. I think it is a reasonable price.

ATD 2 ton extra low profile. Minimum hight of 1-1/3" (yes my rsx is LOW and the front center jack point is far in...)

The jack or jack stand? How often do you need to lift a jack?

The jack is great. I'd rather have a sturdy jack.
