18" or 19" for my e90

hello all. im new to the forum and this may have been asked a few times, im looking for new wheels for my 320d m sport but im not sure weather to go for 18" staggered or 19" staggered. my missus uses the car daily and i use it mainly for biking weekends. i would prefer the 19" for the look but would i have rubbing issues when i have my bike rack on my towbar? my car has the standard 17" staggered at the minute. i dont realy plan on lowering the car either. any info appreciated. cheers

19" staggered. Think you might need bikes made of lead to have rubbing issues.

Big wheels set a car off.

You will notice a big drop in ride comfort though.

I've got 17s on at the moment whilst mine are being refurbished. I was expecting the ride to be better. It isn't. (runflats on the 17s). So, whatever you decide just make sure you don't put run flats on it!

Each to their own.
I have tried following combinations.
17 with RFTs.
18 with RFTs.
18 with NRFTs.
19 with NRFTs.

I loved 19 with NRFTs. They fill arches better than 18s.

If your going with run flats, then 18's
if you ditch the run flats, 19's.

I had 18" MV3's with RFT on my 2008 320d M sport E92 ... and changed to a 2010 330d M Sport on 313M 19" with RFT's

The 330d with the 19" wheels has markedly better ride comfort than the 320d did on 18" wheels ...

Just my experience FWIW.
