How do i know i have codes?

Hi i just installed jb2h yesterday, it was my friends but he sold it to me, i have to tell you it feels much faster now, very happy with it. But the oil temp was little bit high than usual, between 240-260, I have the 07 335i coupe without oil cooler. Is that too high? and how do iknow if i have the codes? do i have to have BT tool in order to see it? Thanks guys

Thanks alot, so there is no way i can see the codes unless i have the BT tool and plug it?, He charged me more than that haha, i thouhgt it was really good power gain for the price, is jb2h reliable?

you could get a procede with built in code reading or just get a BT scanner.
