Camber out of spec / or bent strut?

Hey all,

I just got around installing new rims and winter tires that I purchased from Tire Rack. In the process I got a wheel alignment and they said the front left tire is way out of spec. They said they think the strut is bent but they are not sure unless I replace it. They also said it could be the control arm.

The shop drill out the pin and was able to do a small adjustment. Here are the specs I have now. Question is how much will I ruin my tires if I keep this camber?

Also, is it true you can't tell if something is bent unless the replace it? I don't want to purchase a new strut and spindle only to find out nothing is wrong but I need a new control arm.

Thanks all

it looks like you're well within range to me. How does the car drive?

Car drives fine granted I have not taken on highway speeds yet. When I had the all seasons on before, it drove straight and the car didn't pull in either direction.

Agreed with joec500. -0.9 degrees of camber isn't going to prematurely wear the tire. You can achieve that much stock with these cars so I doubt anything is bent.

I really wouldn't worry about it.

This.

If anything, you should try and get the camber on the passenger side to match.
