AdamC Saphire Black E92
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would start a thread to say hello and show you all my car. I bought myself this saphire black 320d e92 last month and I must say I am loving it. I am a bit of a petrol head and love my fast cars but with a new job and 70+ mile commute everyday my last car just wasn't practical. Absolutley loving the fuel economy and I must say the power isn't too bad at all compared to what I was expecting. Progress with mods is going to be slow as the house is taking up most of my money at the minute but I would like an aero front lip and to sort out that 4x4 like arch gap at the front. Probably with Eibach springs. Performance wise, think it will be a map and thats about it. Previous car, miss it like mad to be honest but don't miss the £120 a week fuel bill. |

Yes I want to get it mapped. I need to do some reading up on it though. Unsure whether to remove DPF at same time or not.
A lot of mods on the FRS. Had full exhaust inc decat and manifold, hybrid turbo, actuator, remap, induction kit and a few other bits. Was around 320bhp @ 22psi. |

removing the dpf is a nice mod for performance gains and sound as i have had it done on mine! just its costly to get it removed and you have to put up with the black smoke
welcome to the forum btw! nice car! small number plates make such a huge difference dont they

Yeah I like small plates. Just need to get a body shop to sort the 2 holes in the front bumper out now Did you remove your DPF because you were having problems with it or just because you wanted to? |

Yeah got a few plans for the coupe but going to be quite slow progress. Want aero lip, get it lowered as the front looks pretty ridiculous at the minute and I want knew wheels but thats going to be a while yet. Quote:
Really tempted by black and gold theme with mine, keep getting drawn to this pic |

Nice tidy looking car,and its in the best colour, although i may be biased! Ive looked into lowering my car a bit,you will need new shocks if you want to fit eibachs. Aero front lip looks v cool though!

Why would I need new shocks? Is it down to just the extra wear and tear the standards will be put under due to the new springs or are they not compatible together?

Couple of new mods last night
- OEM BMW Performance kidney grills - Upgraded Angel Eye LED's from Juiced up Tuning Overall I think they make a big differance to the appearance of the front end, very pleased |
