I would love to see some pics of your car. With the H&R sports the rear looks really dumped.

Not only a slightly more drop, but the spring rates are progressive. Therefore you will have a very soft initial travel and not enough later to keep suspension away from the bump stops.

Linear rate is want you want for more accurate and consistent response.

OK maybe I would like the drop more with the 328, I think it is too much with the 335. Would the spring rate cause an uncomfortable ride with the 328?

No, not at all. You will only experience slightly less drop and improved comfort!

You will still have improvement in confirm and adding more motion control with the Koni's.

I just switched my rear H&R sports for Swift 60mm 572 lb springs, swift thrust sheets and OEM thrust bearings. Got the HP ride height adjusters. Totally stoked!!! Lifted my rear up perfect. Easy install.

Its not that I rolled out coils but only linear springs would've worked. So I'd I have to do KW Swift conversion or TCK coils for my price range. I just didn't want to go that route.

btw I had Koni yellows for 3 years and when switched to Bilstein sports the ride quality and handling is far superior to the Konis. Just a perfect blend of sport handling and comfort. I would never go back to Konis..

That will depend on the Dinan's specs on the springs.

It's hard to compare 3 year old dampers to brand new ones, just not a fair comparison. Plus we don't know where in the Koni damping adjustment you are comparing to the Bilstein. Furthermore, if the Dinan spring rate a better match for the Bilstein and out of the range for Koni, you will obviously get more quality ride and handling.

Interesting. Seems like the BMW community is firmly in the Koni + H&R camp.

I had Koni Yellows and H&R race on my ZHP, and found it jarring, but tight.

My Bilstein + Swift Spec R setup on my Evo IX MR was, in fact, the jesus suspension. By far the best handling+street compliance I have ever experienced, by a large, large margin.

I would be anxious to hear from more owners on the BMW applications.

I recently put hr sport springs on my car (e90 xi), and I think it's a big improvement over stock springs. I wish there were swift springs available for xi.

Although, I don't like the reverse rake. I may get coilovers just to get rid of it.

You can contact Swift to express your interest in the xi version of the Spec-R springs. If enough people contact them, they may just make it happen.

There is only one version for the Swift springs on the 335i and that is the Spec R, unless you're going coilovers.

Ya it's my daily and I don't mind the firmness on our roads. It's obviously not the most comfortable ride due our horrible streets but I can live with it.

Take into consideration I have 17s and beefy tires so it helps the comfort for sure.
