Post your XI 1/4 mile times

I hit 12.9 @ 108 mph with a temperature of 16 Celsius outside. I have a 6mt e92 with VK catless dps , JB3 2.0 @ Map 7 with 94 octane and BMS DCI. I feel like I can go harder but cant get into those higher maps without race gas and exhaust.I guess those will be the next investments

12.9 is pretty fast for a car that weighs almost 4,000 lbs. How's your launch technique?

12.4 is pretty fast - remember that stock Evo IX MRs run 13.4 and weigh almost 600 pounds less.

As they say, speed costs money; how fast do you want to go?

low 12's high 11's is my ultimate goal.

the time i ran 12.4 i filled it up with 5 gallons of race gas, which at the time it equaled out to around 97 octane.

either i need to get to the track with minimal amount of gas and run straight 100 while bumping to map 9, or invest in a meth kit.

You could also go to a single turbo if your primary consideration is drag racing.

Just went bk to the 1/4 tonight. Temp was a bit hotter, 24 degrees. Also, just some 94 octane, no race gas whatsoever and map 7 to be conservative

I ran a 13.014, friend sent me that picture as soon as I hit my brakes
I feel with race gas I can definately beat my old record !

Wow, it's 24 deg C in Montreal? It's like a *minimum* of 37 deg C in Las Vegas at sundown.

You could try to ice down your intercooler with a spray of water/alcohol/ice - we did that on the evos very successfully in between runs to keep the heat soak at bay.

I still have some headroom...map 8 would take advantage of the race gas.

Did a couple of runs when I first got the car with an SSTT. It was 30C with 90% humidity, probably not the best conditions.

1st run I somehow shifted from 2nd to 5th. Downshifted back to 3rd and still managed a 13.9@101.

2nd run the clutch slipped throughout 1st gear and got a 13.4@104.

With a better launch I'm sure 13.1-13.2 is possible.

update

Our last drag event was Friday, night cooled down and I finally got to race with the BMS DCI installed. Was packed like an hour+ wait between runs so was perfect , car nice cool / weather.

13.1 @105mph - so def the cooler weather and open cone filters helped, closer to 12's now..prior was 13.4 @ 103mph stock airbox and warmer evening. Both nights 1.9X 60'

Not sure what other Dinan stage 1 owners are running? My car came with the reflash on the car, so nice perk. Otherwise I wouldn't of personally spent that much for ecu reflash!!

Thanks

Mark
