the cheapest way is to do magnaflow muffler with aluminum piping. but if you look under your car after a month or 2, its gonna look like crap with rusting everywhere and you going to lose more performance. or you can use crush bends and mild steel to the pipings for a bit more quality. there's really only 1 way to do the conversion and is just have one muffler down the middle and then split. usually most muffler shops know how to do it. or I can refer you to a guy down in Irvine (Daniel who used to work for RissRacing but now he has his own company called Race Spirit Inspire). He really know what he's talking about.

I'm actually doing a 328 to 335 conversion monday. I decided to cut off right behind my magnaflow muffler that I have right now and run straight pipes around the box in the trunk. If you like quiet, do the Magnaflow. I absolutly hate it because its just like stock and I want some sound thats why i'm going to run straight pipes. I ordered some tips off Magnaflows website part # 35124. I'll post pics when it gets done on monday!!

or take it to a body shop and get them to slice and dice your stock bumper. if you take it to a good place, you cant even tell that they have made a cut. thats what im planning on doing...i think

about the potential rusting with aluminized steel... if you powdercoat the exhaust then that should help. plus, if you're in CA, it's much less of a problem then if you lived in a place with tons of road salt/snow/violent weather.
