WTB: E90 335i xdrive Performance Exhaust
Looking to purchase a used BMW Performance Exhaust to fit my 2009 BMW E90 335i xdrive. Looking for a nice condition, well kept full exhaust set. Willing to pay a fair price. Local pickup preferred, will negotiate shipping if necessary. Thank you all! Last edited by Stonyo; 04-29-2014 at 02:03 PM.. |

I looked forever for a used xdrive exhaust, gave up and almost bought a new PE from Tischler BMW for $1300 (on sale). Then I found this thread:

The only thing is, do I really want to mess with the stock exhaust parts? I would have to buy another stock exhaust set if I wanted to go back to the stock sound (i.e.if I was going to sell the car). Thanks for sharing! |

To be honest it's pretty subtle. I think most people wouldn't notice at idle or part throttle (the sound is just a little deeper) unless there was a stock vehicle nearby to compare to. I hear the difference at WOT and higher RPMS. And there is no visible alteration because the welds are hidden when the muffler is installed.
