lci and pre lci
I have read a few posts that read pre-lci have 8mm more room in the rear then lci, but no one says why. What is different between the 2.

The lci has a wider track. Just add 8mm to the prelci offsets if you want to compare fitments.
9.5 et33 on a prelci is the same as 9.5 et41 on a lci. |

I'm trying to fit oem m3 220m rims on my 09 e90 with stock M sport suspension. The rear rim is 19x9.5 with 23et.
Option 1: try to make the rears fit Option 2: go with a square set-up 19x8.5 29et all around, but how large a tire can I run on a 8.5in rim for the rear? 265 or 275, I don't care about my speedo reading. Either way I know I need my fenders rolled or cut. |

You could possibly go with 255/30/19 size tires which are the same diameter as 225/40/18 and not feel any rub front and rear. Other option is 265, but check for rubbing issues in front when you turn lock-to-lock.

I know that, but the other forum member might not have, professor.
Better to be safe... and redundant... when going off topic and Mercedes nomenclature is not readily known. Thanks.
