Love bug season....

I Was wondering what u guys do to protect your paint from love bugs.

I was thinking about buying some clear plasti dip to try to protect my bumper and lower part of my hood. Anyone ever try this?

Same. It shouldn't really be a huge issue.

If you buy some spray detailer and wipe them off every other day you should be fine. When I bought my car used the hood paint was pitted all over due to the previous owner failing to remove the bugs. Had to have the hood repainted. Needless to say I hate love bugs

The real challenge is keeping them out of your radiator / intercooler.

Very true. Is it safe to hose the radiator with a pressure washer?

I don't see why not, just take the grilles out so you don't strip the paint off them..
I personally just take the bumper off and scrub everything clean after the summer.

Dragonflys are awful too. Coming back from the Spacecoast yesterday, I had tons of those damn things all over my front bumper and headlights. Nasty

+100

I try to avoid them, but if I do get some, I use a wet fabric softener sheet to remove them pretty quickly. Heard this tip on the radio a few years ago and it works wonders. I can't wait for them to be gone again.

Not that I particularly believe it but,

Yep thats what the rumor is but to be honest I don't know if its true. But from judging how many I saw since I've gotten into town I'm slowly believing it.
