Just wanted to say, I LOVE MY BIMMER!
I have a 2007 335i E92 and love it love it love it! Just got back from a late night cruise and wanted to just express how much I love my car. Its nothing special, just a regular 335i 6MT, with the same ol' HPFP issues most people have, and I love it. I see a lot of topics coming up where people hate their cars, or hate other bimmer drivers, worried about relaibility, blah blah. I'm just saying I enjoy my car for what it is, through its faults and maintenance bills its still all worth while.

I love my 335i as well. For the price I think its well worth it. I kinda compare it to a stock Supra Turbo from '93-'98 models, and those cost ~$50K back then.

I'm from Los Angeles where these cars are seriously a dime a dozen, but I don't care, the car is still amazing to me. You think this car is unreliable? I am coming from a 2nd generation RX7 turbo II, THAT was unreliable and the power is incomparable. I love the balance between comfort/luxury and sportiness of my stock car. Granted, I will be stepping into mods now that my car is out of warranty.
I just think in forums people have a tendency especially over time to only report problems and issues with their cars, but when I put my 335i into perspective its a great car, everything I expect from a turbo inline 6 from BMW. Note: I HATE the clutch delay valve! |

don't you just love those drives though? nothing special and nothing really out of the ordinary as far as a drive is concerned. just you and the car. but you're just driving along and you can't seem to wipe the smile off of your face. then when you get home and park it, you kind of just step back and stare at it for a few seconds, smiling again. i know the feeling, and I'd bet most of us that are still here after all the HPFP and other maintenance crap feel the same.

I am not trying to silence anyone's gripes with their cars, it was just that I wanted to express how much I appreciate my car.
I was washing/detailing my car yesterday after a very stressful week of work and for the first time the car was a place of peace. Washing it was therapeutic and as much as it sounds like a corny cliché driving the drive was even more enjoyable than the wash. I just hope everyone get the most out of what they have, cause I know I do. |

First car I have loved since my Z06. I have gone through two other cars that I disliked due to various reasons, until I stumbled upon the 335i on accident. First of all I love cars that are easy to mod(price and parts). Also I have a kid now, and the four door is great especially considering the fact that it weighs about the same as most two doors. Smooth, comfortable, fast, and great mpg. What else can you ask for. Plus I was so amazed with the amount of forums for BMW's, which really makes a difference when you are a gear head like me.

I wouldn't trade my 335i for anything (in it's current value price range).
