good lawyer

hi californians..
my friend got a speeding ticket for $700 something on SF and he wants to hire a lawyer.
since we are from washington, we don't know who's a best lawyer..
anyone?

Most likely he will lose his license for 30 days (if this is his first offense). He will also not be allowed to receive a restricted license that allows him to drive to and from work or school. This is the new law for this year in California.

Well, I don't know them personally, but I've talked to the lawyers at Sherman Ellison. They gave me some free useful advice. They told me they win most of the time because they litigate the hell out of the police dept. as to become such a nuisance that the police decide it would be cheaper to drop the case.
