i've never once been asked for the badge nor do i keep mine on me, i keep it at home in my safe. thats what i would tell them if they asked, which is the truth

i have one on my car and when the cops pulled me over i said my unlce gave it to me and they didnt really trip that i dint have the bagde for it cop let me off ona warning for speeding

I know of another method that is alot cheaper but not nearly as "effective" as 11-99, its kind of like pulling out instead of a condom. But I won't say it until you sell your shit.

Obeying traffic laws is the most effective.

BTW an 11-99 foundation license plate frame is no guarantee against getting traffic tickets. A buddy of mine has one but still got a ticket. There was a recent LA Times article highly critical of the useage of this frame as a "get out of ticket free" card of sorts, and the CHP has responded...
