I'm on a curb rubbing rampage. Local repair recommendations?

I don't think I've scratched a rim in 5 years. This week, twice. I had the brilliant idea that I could touch them up with the Dremel. Not brilliant. Looks like butt. The wheels are silver CSL reps.

Saturday night someone recommended a repair guy but I can't remember who recommended who. I'm in Howard County and will drive anywhere that doesn't have curbs!

You could try our wheel guy here at Tischer. He's here every Tuesday, probably wouldn't charge more than $200/wheel. Of course he hasn't seen the wheel and it doesn't sound like it's really dinged up so it'd probably be less.

wassup Wes. i saw your pics and its looking good. what other mods you have planned?

wow, he can get a new rim for less than $200.

RimDoc is less than $100 for simple curb rash, includes buffing, paint to match, and clearcoat (i think i paid $75, but that maybe b/c of my multiple rim discount )

It's both back wheels that are rubbed - neither too badly. From 10' away you can't see it. I may scrape up the front two today and see if I can get the total moron discount. Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

i'm sure there are many local members who could use this service after the winter. Potholes are also the death of your wheel lips.

good idea!

If it makes you feel any better a valet just curbed one of my iforged rims this past weekend. I'm more mad at myself for valeting the car in the first place.
Fortunately the valet company indicated they would cover the cost of the repair.
I would try rim doctor since they are mobile..but they only service MD/DC so I am going to David Scales at mobile wheel repair again

if you going to do an upgrade from your OEM angel eyes you should get the Lux 4.0 or 5.0. Just my 2 cents.
