SSTT uninstall question...

we all know that the ECU should be in sleep mode when we install the SSTT...
But what about uninstalling it? Does it also need to be in sleep mode?

You should always put car in sleep mode when removing any sensor wires. This keep the DME from noting a failure in communication with a sensor. If the car is cold ad had sat for a few hours it only takes 60 seconds to get into sleep mode.
