JB3 1.2b Map 7 review
I had 100 octane in the tank. Stock IC, airbox, DPs and exhaust. I tested in 32 degree weather.
Compared to Map 6, below 4000 rpm, it wasn't as torquey but above 4000 rpm, it was definately a big improvement! The car just wanted to keep on going past redline. The first time I put in the JB3 1.0 in my car with a DCI, I said WOAH. I put in JB3 1.2b map 4 then map 6, I was like OKAY. I put in JB3 1.2b map 7, I was like, WOW! I need to test this in 40-50 weather and see how much faster it can be. With map 6, 30 degree weather runs weren't as "fun" as 40-50 degree weather runs. Plus I don't know if map 7 has as much boost reduction for super cool weather.

Not yet. I will be dynoing it soon to compare it to 1.1 w/ DCI and 100 octane. This time around no DCI, 100 octane still but with 1.2b map 7.

I believe he had a more aggressive map 7 tune. Need to confirm with Terry.
