huge backfires with meth?

so my brother in law drove my car today and got into some runs with a really nice sti and i was driving his car and watching from behind.

everytime he would let off / upshift a burst of fire would come out of the driver side muffler is this normal with meth?

i'm running the coolingmist system with dual nozzle injection,

any info would be greatly appeciated,

(we won btw...lol)

If you run catless DP's/Exahust setup with high octane fuel, then i'd say its perfectly normal. My opinion.

backfire all the time on a hard shift in my 6MT 135i + meth. Heck, I get it sometimes without meth.

HEHE Backfire is awesome, I only get it out of first gear though.... I have stock exhaust though.

+1 with catless dp's and secondary cats I'd get some nice noise between shifts and I have never had meth. I loved that sound

why cant you just dump meth in your tank? wont it go the same place and do the same stuff?

Will the alcohol corrode stuff?

Benefits of meth are primarily in it's ability to lower intake temps via evaporation. Dumping it in your tank won't allow that to happen. It's not an octane booster...

That sounds like a very slow reacting check valve. You backfire if you system is not shutting down fast enough during shifts.
