anyways they can put markers to see if you tampered with the ecu cover..


you have to choices finish voiding your warranty or forget about modding

A boost gauge can't be blamed for any type of failure. The rest of it is them just blowing smoke up your ass (not sure how well that translates into German...). They've all read the info from BMW on looking for evidence of tune installation, saw a broken vacuum T, and automatically assumed (correctly) that you had an ECU tune. Unless there was some other evidence, they're just grasping at straws and have nothing to go on.

They're lying to you, so in my book you're justified in lying to them. Those of you with squeaky clean morals, please fight the urge to lecture the rest of us on the "right way" to deal with BMW SA's

If you mod, you gotta pay to play. They wouldn't touch my headlights at all because I did the corner light delete. My SA told me anything modded not BMW will void warranty. Just take out after market parts when you bring your car in and you should not have too much to worry about.

lol you guys are crazy... I wouldnt go to any bmw unless i knew one or more of the techs

pay someone to look the other way, its worth not losing sleep everytime your car is at the dealer
