The BMW dealer oil is Castrol but it is Castrol europe full synthetic. Can be bought elsewhere,but the Syntec sold at Mal-Wart and Costco isn't the same stuff.
This comment was 2010....Walmart stuff today is LL-01. Edge Euro...no longer Syntec...
