Just a reminder that posting your miles without giving any background on service(s) required is pretty worthless IMO.

112k- water pump took a dump at 22k- 2 sets of rotors/pads. With stage 2 turbo, eats plugs change every 12k (NGK)- other that, pretty solid

Check my signature... Lists every non-routine maintenance item and failure, and the mileage it occurred.

This makes me feel better about having a "high mileage" N55.

Purchased a CPO 2012 E92 in April with 26K miles, now at 31K. The car was off lease.

No issues, took it in for service just before 30K and they replaced the front windshield seal. It had some cracking. Previous owner had a AC compressor leak fixed a couple of times before, so far I haven't had any issues with the AC.

It has been a pleasure to drive! I came from a 2008 Acura TL (just before the ugly facelift). My first turbo car, so it's different coming from a NA V6.

CPO 2011 E92. I passed the 65k mark, and originally purchased it with 44k. I've done a fair amount of 600-900 mile road trips. I think my front control arms are starting to wear out but other than that, the car has been hassle free. There's minor vibration that seems to occur intermittently but is independent of speed. It's hard to tell since the roads here are so rough, but it's reminiscent of control arm bushings wearing out.

I'm still under the maintenance plan, so I'm having oil, spark plugs, and brake fluid done in a few months. Within a few weeks I plan on changing my differential fluid. I think I'm going to change the coolant before winter as well.

I cleaned my MAF and it greatly improved my idle and smoothed out my acceleration. Prior to cleaning it, I had a noticeable hesitation between 2000 and 3000 RPM. Turning on the AC also caused some odd idling at times. After cleaning, everything is smooth as butter. Normal idle, no more hesitation.

Almost 52k miles here. I also have a noticeable hesitation between 2000-3000 RPM as well as the weird idle with AC. I will definitely look into cleaning the MAF. Was it easy? Also did you change your air filter?

It's really easy.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...46#post8937746

I noticed a much smoother idle and more linear acceleration between the 2-3k RPM range. Also check the fitting of your O-Ring. If it's not sealing well that can introduce unmetered air into the system. The PN for a new one is 13627532318, but if you go to Autozone and buy a distributor O-Ring kit (PN 80024) then it should have the right size in there.

1 warranty repair done in the past 40k miles (steering wheel sensor)

1 recall done in the past 40k miles (vanos)

Original sparkplugs, trans fluid, etc...
Original spark plugs at 83k with a tune? You like to live dangerously.

The car has 102,000 miles now; still original plugs lol.

No misfires or anything. Once I start getting spark blowout then I'll replace them. Iridiums should last a while, although I'm definitely pushing it

Whats FRM3 and R132a?

Very little carbon buildup. The guy doing the blasting was impressed. I did a write-up on it.
Transmission fluid because it was overdue at 100k. 'Lifetime' transmission fluid is recommended by the manufacturer (ZF) to be replaced every 50k miles. Shifting dramatically improved. I'm sure it had something to do with Bob flashing my transmission with the Alpina B3 program. It's amazing now.

The transfer case fluid - transfer case engages the front wheels, when required on the xDrive system

FRM3 is the footwell module. It is behind the panel right by the hood release lever by your left shin when in the driver's seat. This module controls the lighting and some other features like the seatbelt caddy in coupes. FRM3 module got fried when I replaced my coolant reservoir, I ran down my battery. The attempt to start the car with a low voltage battery is known to fry some electrical components in these cars.

R132a is the 'freon' in the air conditioning system. Had to be recharged is all...
