front brakes question. Cool carbons

I need to change out my front brakes. I've got 52k on the car and the back brakes were changed at about 40-43k. I'm interested in going with Cool carbon brakes to cut down on the brake dust, however, I'm unsure if I can just take the rear brakes off and install the cool carbons and expect them to bed properly. Or will I also need to change the rotors on the rear? Keep in mind that the rear rotors have about 10k of mileage on them.
Of course, I'm going to be changing the rotors on the fronts.

I think you're fine. I did same (replaced OEM pads with CC, but used "old" OEM rotors) at 10k, but the whole car was at 10k. Leave it to the experts to reply about bedding new and "old" rotors at the same time.

I read these articles yielded from a google search.

Usually BMW suggests changing rotors and pads at the same time. I haven't always done this, but that's usually what BMW has told me. Regardless of that though Cool Carbons are certainly one of the greater pads out there right now. Let me know if you need help w/ those pads

New rotors or machining of old rotors to smooth surface and to remove any lip is of course preferred, but generally used rotors in good condition should work fine,( if flat, smooth and not warped). It may take a little longer for the pads to seat over the used rotor surface. Also possible minor noise until fully seated.

You could also file a very slight chamfer on the inside and outside edges of the pad friction surfaces to clear the lips on the rotor and to accelerate seating.

Make sure to also clean the old rotor surface with Brake Kleen and ScotchBrite pad (green) as well.

Follow the installation and bedding procedures included or on line and you should be fine.
