Mic over most ?

Hey guys, so I have a 2010 e90 330d with factory cic 606 Idrive,6fl,620 and 677 pro hifi. I’ve coded the mulf2 hi svs for Bluetooth and all is working fine apart from the mic 😒.. I’ve read endless post and understand in my situation, it’s normal procedure to repin the mic connection in the drivers footwell with the car being right hand drive of course (spent a day trying find it behind the glovebox lol) my problem is that the connector only has 3 wires in it and seem to be in the right place.. . . . So I’m super confused as to why my mic isn’t working any input would be gratefully received. I’ve taken a pic of the mulf2 I believe the mic is wired to it, and of the connection box for the mic. Thanks in advance jb

I did post this in the diy guide sticky but I think it’s dead. So sorry for the double post.

cas and frm have nothing to do with 644 option
they are used to store VA/FO list so that next time you can load it from it
you need to perform sg_codieren job on all modules involved in function,
headunit (all submodules of them), combox, sometimes kombi

So I’m doing sg_ codieren on which modules exactly? mcic, mulf2, and kombi correct ? Sorry if it seems like your spoon feeding me. I’m new lol and thanks for helping

load VO/FA list from CAS or NFRM (it is done when button pressed with same sense)
edit VO/FA, to add 644
next step you can save modified list to CAS or NFRM (this is SG_SCHRIEBEN job) OR you can simply proceed with coding modules (SG_CODIEREN job)

Still getting the same issue they can’t hear me but when Remove 644 voice is working perfectly. I was getting an error when trying to code the mulf but that is normal no ? I just did sg_reset on it and Bluetooth was back but still nothing from fzd mic

Exact process . . . I’m doing writing 644 to cas and nfrm, then sg_codieren mcic which restarts idrive with Bluetooth in the menu. Change ecu to the mulf2 execute job which brings the error because I’m using dcan so do sg_reset and that works... so frustrating as I understand how simple this job should be just can’t understand why the mic is not working

dcan should work with mulf2
your mic is now routed to headunit, may be he should rerouted to mulf2 - that you'll need to put long wire between front footwell and module behind the rear seat

Was really hoping not to have to run wires. But seems like the only option at this point.
I read somewhere about re pining the mic in the back of the hu to pin 19 and 21 but I can’t find the thread now.. have you heard of this ?

mic already connected to hu
but for bluetooth it should be connected to mulf and mulf will transfer voice for voice control over most bus

I’ve ordered the pins from bmw for the mulf2 connector and I think I’m going to run the cable to under the drivers footwell and connect it to the mic there. I understand that the female side of this connector goes to the fzd ?

the mic is separate device but attached to fzd enclosure
you need to remove mic wires in driver footwell coming from headunit and insert same wires from mulf instead of them
