Exhaust Flange Gasket Question

So I just picked up an AE catback used from a local e90 member and now I need to buy some new gaskets. I saw AR Design has some beauties but I rather just pick some up at a local auto store so I don't have to wait for shipping My local store has some that look identical to the stock AE gaskets but I measured the inner diameter and it was 2 3/8 inches, where Ae/AR's are 2.5 inches. Will the slightly smaller inner diameter cause any issues? I will probably just return these and go ahead and buy AR's but I just wanted to see what you all thought of a slightly smaller inner ring.
