Sport Package Spoiler

Hey all I have that silly sport package trunk spoiler that I'm looking to replace with the performance spoiler but I don't know if it's just held with 3m or if there are studs that would expose holes in the trunk if removed.

Thanks guys!

Pull some dental floss under the contact areas and you'll know. Most likely 3M tape.

If it's OEM it might be stuck on with Betalink. If that's the case...good luck and have fun!

If it's 3m tape, I got my spoiler off by misting hot water with a spray bottle around the area, trying to get it under the spoiler. I had someone grab the spoiler and pull up moderately while I ran fishing line under it, and it cut easily. Once the spoiler was off I just goo-gone'd the residue and scraped some of it off with my fingernail, then rinsed.

If you have a handheld steam cleaner, that'll work too

They also make a drill attachment that is like a giant eraser. Works great for removing trim adhesive.
