Stock Air Filter vs Helene Streamline SE

I have noticed that after dropping in the Helene filter
I am no longer hearing the high pitched wine from the engine.
I thought this was the noise the turbos were making as they spool up, but after the filter upgrade realized that it must be some resonance in the air box.
I wonder if it means that the Helene filter has better air flow? I sort of
miss the stock sounds my engine made and maybe selling the Helene
Anyone have similar experiences? Any takers for on the Helene Streamline SE?

Are you after sound or after power ? Helene is supposed to make your engine make a few hp more. By the way, do you feel a change in power ?

No noticeable change in power, but I have not been driving aggressively with it all that much yet.

If its already in there might as well leave it there. I never noticed any change in sound and Im sure your not missing much. Its a better filter than the oem one IMO. I have one and Im happy with it. It worked better than both my riss intake and vishnu dci.

Ship it over here. I'll give you $50 for the used filter.

I am going to drive around with it for a while. The filter needs to be oiled once in a while? Do you know what the interval for this?

Damn those Helene people telling me I had to buy their own cleaning and oil kit...come to find out I could have used my (barely used) K&N cleaning and oil kit on it.

If people tell you they can notice any hp gain with a filter, you should respond with a bridge for sale.

How often did you oil it?

Have not had to clean yet, but I believe the general practice is around 10-15k miles - which is appx the same interval for replacing a stock AF. I can't wait to go through the joy of muscling the filter box top back on....

I have had the Helene for about 9000 miles and its not too dirty. The only real noticeable difference for me was a little better gas mileage and better throttle response. Nothing huge but slightly noticeable.

Hi,

Where did you buy Helene filters online ? I need to order one now and I can only find one store shipping to Romania (at the ridiculous shipping price of $145).
