How many E92 members would be interested in a black roof vinyl?

once again sorry for not postin pics. time is not my friend at all. neither is the weather here. im going to have to order another set from bat because i F*d up the tail light portion but i may leave it as is. ill see... Quote:
I would try and go for it on my own but it really does make the job 200 times easier with two people. my buddy installs them so he just told me to wait for a "warm" day here so i can head over to his garage to do the roof overlay install...only problem is our schedules clash and lately our warmest day has been 35-40 degrees. and snow expected tomorrow. |

Pics of the smoked tails
finally got a chance to put these on. Now IMO, i dont like the Blacked out look, i wanted just a simple light smoked look on the tails and Bat delivered.
I believe these are the "3/10" vinyl. anyway here are the pics. Great product Oracal i believe. Very durable and precise cutting, leaving enough room. Trimming is required, that was the only drawback in my case cause i suck at it. I also threw in some shots of my horrible gloss black vinyl in there too. Just a note...due to the fact that i messed up on the large section of the tails, i fully smoked the trunk portion and smoked only the white portions of the tails on the quarter panels/bumper. Using a heat gun is also required for this. but i was stubborn and ended up paying for it. lol |

^^^thanks, that car was actually my motivation for doing this. USC or UCS is a part of his username i believe. It seems like his tails are slightly darker, but im fine with mine, i wanted to have that Merc. SL shade.
BTW bluebat is a pleasure to do business with and he is definitely recommended for any vinyl work you guys may need on your cars. |

thanks, i cant wait to see how yours comes out. If we ever get the chance to throw the overlay on that is I asked my buddy who owns a body shop to do this for me(install roof overlay). i think he thought i was talking about a clear bra, so hopefully he does a good job at it. |

the black vynil doesn't match your AW car.
On black it might look cool, but even better on the reverse (white) lens, and leaving all the red. |
