Goodbye

Its time to say goodbye. I change my bmw 325i to skoda octavia. This forum is best off all.
Thanks to every one who helped me when I need it info.
Change car because we need to save some money to mortgage for home and my missis doing more mileage.
About octavia (maybe some poeple don't like it them)
Biger boot space ( it's 100L more)
Inside for rear passengers is less space, but is not bad.
O it's 55 reg 2.0tdi dsg laurin&klement spec.
I went to pick up car from chorley (it's about 190miles from me) bmw done 35 mpg on steady 70-80 mph. Come back home with skoda done 58.6 mpg with same speed and more traffic. I think is not bad . I was impressed with skoda.
My bmw was with non RFT and only 17" wheels, but on long distance it was killing my back. I know you have to pay price for perfect handling and that's what I will definitely gona miss it.
Thank again to every one

Ps I will not leave this forum for good because it's to good.

With the same spec E91 SE I feel the rear springs are too hard when unladen, or at perhaps the dampers just need more rebound to control the stiffer rear springs fitted to the touring. Ride is much better when fully loaded, in my experience.

Conversely, I had an Octavia Mk1 previously (not vRS) and the rear springs were *very* soft. Fine in a straight line, but cornering with a full load could be disconcerting, and later I added a Whiteline rear ARB to contain the rear-led roll. I hope you find the Mk2 Octy better, and believe the multi-link setup fitted to the Mk2 was a significant improvement over the beam setup used on the Mk1. If you have not already, then do check out briskoda.net.
