JBSpeed Matte Black Grill

For those of you, who have bought the JBSpeed matte black grill, how is it holding up in terms of quality? Is it fading, cracking, etc?
Would you recommend it, or better go with another brand?
Thanks

I don't know... I must be in the minority here, but since I bought a 60,000+ car I figured it wouldn't hurt to spend another hundred bucks on quality black performance grilles

I have had my gloss black grilles from MO DB A RG AINS on the car for over 2 1/2 years through every type of weather imaginable and they still look as new as the day I bought them.

For me, time is money- and wasting time spraying my OEM kidney grills with some plasticky substance, peeling it off if necessary, and resorting them over and over at around 5-10 bucks a can is far more wasteful in the long term IMO.

To each their own however, and I can't fault someone for trying to be creative with cosmetically modifying their car.

That said, depending upon the color of your car, matte black can look great or can look horrible in my opinion.

No, I'm not too much into the plastidip trend. Probably, because the whole painting process hasn't been done right, but every time I see some plastidipped part on a car it looks very cheap.

My car is TiAg, and I believe matte black is the way to go. I think it would blend in with the lower grill and window trim.

So, according to the replies, the grills at mo db ar ga ins are the high quality ones. Is that right?

Preformance grills... Lol, sorry that made me laugh. There's nothing preformance to them but a diffrent color. 5$ can can coat a 18in wheel 7 times heavily. I can't imagine how many times you can respray grills. Plus it's fun working on your car. All to their own.
