I really want to thank Viral at Active Autowerke for providing flawless customer service. Everyone at Active are super friendly and awesome. I even got a tour of the whole shop. Even got to meet the shop dog XD. Best part was seeing the supercharged M3 do a dyno run. (I almost went death at one point) lol
Got an awesome price for the job. I highly recommend Active to anyone.

This tune really brought the beast out of my car. Goodbye stock, hello AA tune! I honestly feel like I'm driving a totally different car. I've never felt the car pull so hard and the roaring of my engine doesn't cease to amaze me.

Viral also hooked it up with a shirt and an Active license plate frame.

Im beyond satisfied and I highly highly recommend these guys!
Did you use pbx before?

curious how one would tell the difference between a true performance gain and a 'subtle' throttle remap

not that i'm doubting AA. just wanted some detailed driving impressions vs. pbx

On a serious note, OP I'm sure you'll enjoy the AA tune, I've never read a single negative review on it so far

how do you know it's way better if you never used pbx before?
well I'm sure it's better but most of us want to know how much difference there is since both AA tune and PBX is mainly about changing the throttle response.

I've used both the PBX and now have the AA Tune.

The PBX throttle feels like a slingshot. Revs increase fast initially but depressing the pedal more won't do anything. The AA tune throttle is more linear and stiff. Also, the engine has a nice growl and shifts are smoother.

John @ bimmersport was telling me about your car the other day, and he showed me your review. I'm currently using pbx, but I might switch over to AA. I agree PBX feels aggressive and it can be a little jerky at times. But I like the fact that it is piggyback.

before and after dynos? Big difference I bet huh? If you don't mind what did they charge you?

My stock 2011 328i put down 185whp on a dynojet. I flashed it with 260HP program for the 3.0si models and changed a few more things. HUGE difference, have to restrap the dyno again to see what difference it made over all. Glad you're happy with your purchase from AA.

Thank you very much! But yeah I'm like everyone else on this forum and were all interested in this flash that you did on your car.

Do you mind filling us in on this tune?
