N54 Oil Filter Wrench Measurements?

Hey guys, so after owning my 335i, I've learned very quickly to become very frugal with anything I buy for my baby! Not buying cheap parts but researching the hell out of it searching for cheapest priced. If it's not one thing, it's another and the cost of ownership adds up. but the thrill of the drive justifies owning one. lol. With that said, when I can get away with buying cheaper alternatives, I'm all over that. No matter how cheap original price is. If I can get cheaper, I'm going that route. So...oil filter wrench. Autotzone sells them for like $6 compared to $20+ at stealer or online. Anyone know what the measurement are on an N54? I've read some mixed readings. Some say 86mm 16 flute, some say 87mm 16 flute and some are way off these. Can someone verify the measurements for me please? I'm hoping, it's not a only BMW specific measurement where I have to go oem. In addition, if you guys have other product suggestions, I'm open to that as well. Appreciate the help e9x Fam!

I bought the cheap one, works great, no issues.
3 oil changes so far.

Mind you, I bought from Lordco in Canada here.

Forget about the measurements and get yourself a rubber strap wrench. This is what I got... works like a charm.

I had something like this. Served well for a couple years but unfortunately gave out and ripped when I attempted to do an oil change last weekend.

Do you have any idea what the measurements are? I think it should say on the wrench itself.

I got something like this from a NAPA store. I asked the guy if i could take it out of the wrapping to see which size fit on my cap. Just ask them to do the same.
