Plastic on the seats will stay till after the 1200 mile service since I have no usable seat cover at the moment. Cheesy but I want the car to remain clean

The color is not TiAG. TiAG is my 5er and the M3 is SilverstoneII. It looks MUCH better than the pictures alude to. The TiAG is a bright silver and the SSII is a silvery bluish hue of awesomeness. It looks spectacular during the day and I always get people asking me "What color is that?".

I don't blame you about the plastic. Ah, yes SSII. I knew that, just forgot. Saw an E92 M3 in the same color at Bimmerfest, and it was spectacular. Enjoy.

IMO those flush reflectors are POS. I saw pics of a member that bought them and installed, the gaps are huge and it looks worse than the stock sticking out.

Take my word and either get euro bumper or painted reflectors.

Those flush ones are a scam for over $100.

Good call Fifth. I'll just order a set to replace the stock. I was thinking about painting the stock ones but I remembered I'd have to put them back on after 4 years for inspection.

I've cancelled the Remus install. My wife will be having a high risk pregnancy and I decided this splurge would be better suited to take care of her needs. I compromised and was able to keep the steering wheel at least.

why not remove them by cutting down the back with a straight edge razor and keeping them in the garage. then the day of the 1200 mile service slip them back on, and use a few pieces of tape to hold the plastic to itself?

will keep you from looking like you just stole it off a lot for another week or so lol

Love the blacklines!!

PS: how long did difeo tell u it would take to get plates?

can always go to a private garage and have them "rotate the tires and 'inspect it while it's here'". If it were tints you might have a problem, but something like that I don't even think they would look for. If you did the euro bumper or had a body shop fill the holes in honestly I don't even think most people at DMV would catch it.

I smoked the reflectors and they look fairly good in my opinion for only $80. Kind of matches the blacklines. Any other opinions?

ya i think the smoked reflectors looks better then the painted ones myself too...the painted ones just look odd and stick out IMO.

honestly i think i'm just gonna keep mine the way they are for now..i'm sure they'll get on my nerves eventually, or when i get fed up and have some parking rash from a$$holes that cant parallel park on teh front bumbper maybe i'll just have the body shop fill the holes in and paint the whole bumper. From what i've seen in pics, that is really the only way to make it look clean.

Contact Marc (mds82).....hes working on a Lux version for the E92...and its coming along quite well.
