We might have to start a new thread soon too, so that people won't have to read through all these posts.

I might be dumb or something, but I have no idea where those locations are. I am not familiar with the Palisades Parkway as I have never been on it before. Or might have been, but used my Navigation. Just by the link, I have no clue where each location is or how to get there from my house.

And if I'm having problems locating it, then some other members might too.

Or maybe it's just me.

Nope not dumb. All Im getting are pretty overhead views of these gas stations. Theres still no address for me to get directions to them though.

I just spent a week sailing in the BVI with just a chart and a handheld GPS and didn't get lost once. Oh wait a minute...you guys are from Jersey, where you have to go right to make a left turn! Now I understand!

I suggest we just pick locations with physical addresses. Not many of us are Boy Scouts here. We're here to have a good time. Don't want to make this meet into an adventure where I have to figure out the latitude, longitude, attitude or whatever...

If anybody has any suggestion on locations with physical address where people can either mapquest or use their navigation, it will be greatly appreciated.

At this point, I can say for some of the N.J. people, we can meet in front of the Best Buy at the Garden State Plaza, where we had the last meet, since we will need to go back onto the GSP North to get onto the Palisades Parkway.

And then we can meet the rest of the crew either somewhere on the Palisades Parkway headed North or just at Bear Mountain.

How far away from woodbury commons is bear mountain? I thought this was right there. Did I get lost somewhere in the past 398273 pages?

I think jersey fold meeting up at the BB on the GSP is a great idea. Just need to get a time frame going.

If you guys don't know how to get to the George Washington Bridge and go north on the PIP, well....how do you expect to find Bear Mtn?

nice...so when you give your home address or business address...you put longitude and latitude?

For us that still doesn't know wth is the gas station, lets just meet up at garden state mall.

Hmmm... Let me see??? How can I explain this to you. Ummm.... It's a type of technology that BMW incorporated into some of their cars. I think it's called a Navigation system, they also have portable ones too, that are not built into the cars. I was planning on entering "Bear Mountain, NY" into the Nav and let the Nav show me the way. Btw, Nav is short for Navigation.

All joking aside. I doubt it'll be hard to find Bear Mountain. Plus, the meeting locations that you mentioned are before the entry location that we will be taking on Palisades Parkway. I don't want to head South to the location, just to head North again.

As long as everybody can get to the meeting locations, then we will not have a problem getting to Bear Mountain. Since there seems to be a couple of members who knows how to get there.

If the Sunoco location is good for you NY'ers, then you guys should meet there. My question now is that we will be taking GSP North all the way until we get to I87. Then we will be taking I87 South to Exit 13N for the Palisades Parkway North. Do you know if there are any rest areas from there on that we can all meet at?

FYI, the Gas Station does not have a mailing address, the post office will deliver mail marked Sunoco, Palisades Parkway Northbound, Englewood CLiffs, NJ

It's a good thing Admiral Peary was from PA, not Jersey or else we still wouldn't know where the North Pole was!
