V4 dyno results part 2

Well; I got home VERY late from the dyno yesterday; I was able to do a bunch of runs including the new BETA maps and firmware(006) that Shiv emailed yesterday. My car was running heavy as 19" wheels (as usual); 6MT, VK DPs,custom magnaflow quad .exhaust, BMS DCI, Turbonetics IC, NST pulley, ect.

Meth/H20 mix: 75/25

Run 12: 91 + meth; 02-23 stage 4+ map and firmware (005).
Run 18: 50/50 mix of 91 & ms109 + meth; 03-26 Beta map at 60% UT, 0% IC.
Run 19,20,21: 50/50 mix of 91 & ms109 + meth; 03-26 Beta map at 100% 0% IC.

4300-4500 RPM happens to be the sweet spot on these cars tuned.

Thanks, but now I'm contemplating on installing the nitrous, so far the stock clutch is holding up but with NItrous, I'll definitely need a new clutch.

Congratulations on the runs. Tuning for those power levels can be very draining. I have a question on the charts, is the big dips at 3200&4200 knocking or boost problems?

Neither. The bump at 4200rpm is a vanos shift. You will see this even if boost and ign advance logs are flat through this rpm zone.

And yep... The new maps are considerably more torquey in the low-mid rpm range.

Thanks and good to hear its normal but looks so strange. Most of the other dynos I've seen are a lot smoother there.

About 17.5 to 18 psi. Be careful though, on my way home, I added another 5 gallons of 91 to the 50/50 91 and ms 109 mix and the car did not like it at all (UT 100, 0 IC) , I did not have enough octane.

you need to mix more meth than 50/50 try 80/20 and your car will like you better!

I was running 75/25 meth mix; what I meant was the fuel mixture.

not really.. the majority have that same exact bump. A lot of the jb3 dynos are so bumpy it's hard to tell what's going on exactly at that point though. also, scaling plays a big role in how that bump looks

quick example of another vanos bump:
