CamBs meet Pics
Hi guys,
Right, todays meet was a success. Great to see Simon, Ian, Jack again and great to meet Sean, Ruth, Lars and also Anthony. We had some congested roads to deal with at first But it did clear in the end. Ians car looked schmokin' I wont say anything else Seans 335i was very tidy and the same colour comBination as mine Lars Boost gauged up 335i was pretty smart too. Loving Ants 330 and also Simons Hairdresser motor Only kidding mate, sounds lovely and goes well. We ended up getting into Audley End house for photoshoot on the grounds which was cool. Pics soon to Be posted. We had lunch in a nice puB which is owned By Jamie Olivers friend and im sure the gang will concur the food was awesome My GF and her friend also joined us for lunch.. Affter lunch a few guys went, Si, Ian, Lars and Myself headed north for some spectacular roads. Close to an old Kart circuit i used to race at, so we popped in for a watch! Pics on their way (if you guys could edit plates pls Before posting cheers) Anyhow great day, great company and great fun! Cheers everyone, To the next one

Aye, it was great to meet you all. What a nice bunch of people. Shame E92 fan couldn't make, I had lots of questions for you
Good to see some mods in the flesh so to speak. 10mm spacers on 225M rims look awesome as does colour coded rear diffuser. Funny when we left Audley End house in formation and the old girl to Simon's left follwed us Excellent choice for pub lunch Carlos. I went home via B184, that's a great road. Hope you all follow up with your local IAM group. Look forward to the pics (Lar's looks like a pro) and next meet. |

Carl, thanks for organising this. Really enjoyed the day and as ever great company and food.
Shame about the late drop outs, but you did try to add one more by chatting up an oldtimer in a 320D? A few photos from today. Not quite the quality that Matt produces, but I guess I can get a few pointers at UK8? I could have used a bit more time on the lawn as some of the shots didn't come out as well as I had hoped, but the security guard looked at bit worried so I guess it was time to leave. Cheers for leading me back to Cambs, but had a I known where we were I would probably have gone another way. That road was a dual-carrigage way from hell. I have never seen so many SPECs cameras in one place. Results of Ian's 5 minute grill change and the DXB is carbon'ed up! Surely this must add a few msec at the Pod. Defitely looks meaner! |

So Carl, is that your house? Not bad!
I do like your rims a lot - what style are they? Reckon they'd look rather smart on my E91... But I'd get killed if I stuck any on any time soon. |

Good day allround.
Nice to meet everyone (and see some familiar faces) Top organisation Carlos, good food-stop (although I should have gone with the steak - I ended up at a party on Sat night with a hog roast - Pork overload!!) Glad you enjoyed the roads, only a shame we couldn't play longer. Deffo organise a little karting run out for everyone, as discussed....

To be decided - just something Ian (Hotcoupe) Carlos and myself were discussing.
The problem is finding a venue that suits maximum number of people from a geographical point of view.

Well count me in - I've discussed this on numerous occasions and we've had threads about it in the past. It's just never happened unfortunately.
Could be a nice sponsorship opportunity for someone?........
