Arrow FS: 3 Stage Intake Manifold w/both DISA actuators

Hi

I have a 3 stage intake manifold that needs to go, I ended up with 2, and 1 of them is on my car already, so this one is surplus to my needs.

I fitted onto my 323i Pre-LCI, but this should fit any N52 engine without the 3 stage intake manifold. I haven't got my car dyno'd yet, so I am not sure of the gains "numbers" wise, but there is a definite stronger pull throughout the rev range.

Looking for $6000hkd.
Pics attached.

Thanks
Pat

Other than this, what other parts do you need to install it?

Needed nothing else, the one that I had fitted to my car had the same parts on as this one, and I just used some clips from my old manifold onto the 3IM if they were missing or damaged, otherwise really nothing else needed.

I even bought an extra vent hose direct from BMWHK for $764, which I didnt need....now its just an expensive bit of tubing sitting on my desk...

After reading the threads on the conversion and the needed parts, there is nothing more you need, on top of what i have here, just installation.

No 323 or 325 owners are ready to give their motor more torque?

I think if you put up some dyno numbers, you'd get some bites...
I'm definitely interested but that's a lo of coin...

Patrick, go visit Fuel Tank in Fo Tan.
My bimmer fd sent me: http://fueltank.hk/shop/products.php?cPath=70
They offer DYNO test, HKD800-1000 per car. While Top Racing offers HKD1500 per car.

Thanks, I sent them a message, see if they call me back tomorrow, otherwise I will call them.

Yea, Top Racing has quoted me $1500, but its so close to me, Fo Tan is a little far, but I go there once a week, so it maybe OK.

Havent had the time to get the car to the dyno yet, and both fueltank and top racing dont have the free slot for me to get it done.

Anyone dare to give me an offer on this? All I can say about this mod on a 323i is that there is a definite gain in BHP and TQ, I can let prospective takers to try in my car first to feel the difference.

I need to get rid of it as the wife is complaining about dirty car parts in the house now!

Dont be shy!

EDIT - For the full $6000hkd, I will install it for you too, I did my one, so I know what is expected, takes around 3-4hrs, but I would need the car to be cold prior to installation.

Do you need to reset your ECU?Or do you need to do some extra remapping?

No need to reset ECU, but if you want to get the most out of the mod, then a remap is advisable.

What if I already do the ECU remap with monster tuning? Do I need another tune to get most out of it? Does both DISA valves work with just regular ECU remap like mine?

To get the best results from the mod, then yes it is advisable to re-tune your ECU, but it will work just fine even if you dont.

The DISA's open and close based on engine RPM, so I dont think its necessary, but again, to get the best results, then yes.

A tune would definitely give you a lot higher numbers but the car will adjust itself to the new manifold once you have driven it a few hundred miles. And my name is Patrick also. I know that new these sell for $1100 USD or something like that. Your price is good, but I've seen better prices over here in Canada.

Thanks for everything!

Because I converted my 323i to 325i engine spec(both software and hardware), tested 0-100km/hr, it is around 7.4-7.8s. close to spec of 325i

so just wanna know is there any chip tuner like the one you did is good.....
i may try :-)

What hardware difference is there between the 323i and 325i?

So that means that the 325i already have the 3stage intake manifold?
