Speed Camera Detectors...
What units have people got and where have you mounted them.
I've had in the past a RoadPilotMicro, RoadAngelCompact and currently have a RoadAngelPlus..... but want to install something that doesn't make a mess of the dash (I hate dash clutter) P |

I have a Road Angel compact, though never use it and should really sell it!
Good piece of kit and was previously hard wired into my mini so only a tiny bit of wiring showed through and no need to messing about with cigaretter lighters etc.

pogo alert. has to be! origin db is unbeatable.. and ofcourse if you have front parking sensors fitted (who wouldn't want them) then it can become a nice accidental jammer too (with kill switch hidden well behind the dash for if you get pulled for it )

I have a Road Angel Plus - I stuck the small magnetic mount on the dash near the right hand vent on the dash - doesn't fall off and the mount is fairly inconspicuous when not in use

Detectors in the UK are not illegal, they are in France and other mainland European countries.
Jammers are mega illegal and if caught and proved to have been used your in for a serious fine. Last chap I heard of got a £5000 fine ! This was after trying to open his home garage door with them in front of the officers and not being able to (naturally! as they use RF technology, not laser/infrared!) |

I stuck the magnetic pad on the dash in the valley between the speedo hump and the sat nav hump, just sits in there perfectly and its inthe centre of the car where it needs to be for best laser detection. never falls off and no naff windscreen mounts that you can't reach. |
