Be that as it may, my 2008 325i is probably worthless now when a new LCI 323i can be had at 329k with the same options. I think MB enjoys much better resale value in HK...

Used popular car values also depend on the condition and choice of colours.

I agree that MB has lower depreciation rate than BMW.

Your 2008 325i is worthless? Haha, I have a 2005 (fourth-hand) E90 325i, I think my car is more "worthless" then yours!

Yeah, that's true. MBs retain their value better then BMW.

Of course, BMW drives better then MBs, hehehe (well, if given the choice between an M or a an AMG car, I will go for an M).

I would'nt turn down a C63 if given the offer, and the facelifted C63 coupe looks awesome. But I always see the C63 more as a German muscle car then a real sporty car like the M3. The c63 beats a e92 m3 in the straight line, but when it comes to cornering on the track, the M3 still reigns supreme. Thus even if a M3 can't beat a C63 in a drag race, it can beat it in track time. The M3 is more of a gt sports car in a sedan/coupe guise.

I personally don't think it matters much whether MB sells more then BMW in HK, BMW sells more premium cars globally then MB, and that's what counts.

Anyway, I do know that BMW cars in general drives better then MB cars, having a more driver-focus (although I do like MBs too, but not in the same way as a BMW).

A few years back, we did an event for a 7-Series launch in Shanghai. From the horse's mouth:
You buy a BMW to Drive
You buy a Mercedes to get chauffeured in

I was replying jclariel's previous post.

I sure some people here wouldn't buy a brand new regular priced BMW if there is no discount at all including myself.

But yes, I agree BMW definitely drives better than MB. Not only drives better, but also more reliable.

Yeah I know you were replying to his post, just adding my own comment to that .

BMW HK is now trying to clear the remaining E90 stock it has prior to the F30's introduction to HK, so I bet there will be more deeper discounts.

From what I know, there are 9 E9x M3 and 4 E9x 335i on the list.

Moreover,my fd told me that E90 323i 329k edition has no Dakota Leather seats, but Leatherette seats instead.
