9.5" Front????

Are there any negatives to running a 9.5" front as opposed to 8.5" since 8.5" seems to be the norm around here for 19" wheels?

Possibility of rubbing the strut, and usually rubbing the fender liner on full steering wheel lock.

9.5 is tough to fit in the front. Offset has to be on the money. My gf runs 19x10 +22, the wheel misses the strut housing by hairs and the lip sticks out beyond the fender. It's really aggressive, plan on stretching tires to make it fit.

9.5" fronts can work but may require modifications if you plan on lowering the vehicle. We have tested a 9.5 +33 front with a 235/35/19 tire with zero issues at stock ride height.

et in the 30's. mine was 33 without spacers. will not rub with a 235 or a 225. will not hit the strut, the fenderliner. or anything. you'll be fine, even lowered 2.5 inches

Hey matt, is that car on coils? if so...the coil collar sits lower (closer to the rim at its lowest setting) vs the stock strut? or would you say its about the same? got some 10.5 +15 on order so im kinda scared

You can run a 19x9.5 et33 on the front with no problem. But you can't run anything larger than a 235 tire.

Thats good to know! But what if u lower the car with KW variant2 coil overs?? But not too low. Just to get rid of the space between the wheel well and the tire. Do you need any mods with that??

The drop with the KW V2 can be made to work with the 9.5 wheels in the front.
Anytime you do such a set up, the proper way to do it is to do a full alignment and tweak them to make sure that everything fits without issues.
you will also need to make sure that all four corners have the ride height adjusted at the same time.

This is not going to be an easy cookie cutter method but with proper installation and alignment, you'd be riding them with no problems.

recommend the KW V2 install first, let it ride for a few hundred miles, install the wheels and then do a full alignment and proper height adjustment.
Also, most of the time, you won't need to go out of stock parameters on your alignment but in some cases you may need to do so... slightly.

This is where it becomes an art form.... pull it off right and it looks real good.

Depending on how low you decide to go, you'll need to camber the fronts in slightly to clear the outside fender. 9.5 +33 with a 235 is very flush towards the outside.

I just want a decent drop. Not too low like the H&R sport springs. I want to run 10" rear and 9.5" front. You think its gonna work without rolling the fenders?

Its good to see our fellow E90 guys venture into the 9.5 fronts.

As Julius mentioned, I would get the coil overs first and let every settle before fitting wheels.

Here is Mark Arcenal from Fatlace's 328Xi on KW Variant 2/VMR V701's

19x9.5 +22 - 235/35 , No roll needed at all!

19x9.5 +7 255/35 , small sidewall tire, rolled rear fender

I have a 2013 BMW 335i Coupe M-Sport.
I am running 19x9.5 et33 front and 19x10.5 et 38 rear.
Tires are Federal 595s 245/35R19 and 275/30R19.

No rubbing at all turning or taking bumps. I don't plan to lower. I want comfort and ride quality. No rolling fenders needed with this combo.
