COBB AP and Exhaust

The COBB AP is the best tune I've owned, but why is my exhaust so muffled now? It just does not sound like it use too, way more quieter and softer.

Can a Map update fix this issue?

I think you just got used to the sound. Did you do the golf tee mod yet?

Some tunes keep the wastegates partially closed on idle/cruise for faster spool-up. That's why the exhaust seems quieter.

Dammit, I have the same and I thought it was just me getting used to the sound. Even my cold start didn't sound as loud as it usually does. NiVeDh may be right on the money.

Its all in the WG control as said earlier.

The closer the WG are to being closed the less exhaust noise, but in turn you receive faster spool.

Understood before hand, just a little let down is all. Thanks for pointing out the obvious though, your contribution to this thread has been worthless as I'm sure your contributions to society. Keep up the hard work

I just installed Afe exhaust in mine, but unfortunately to my taste was a little too dip and loud, I installed it less than a month ago, I am thinking on selling it and going back to stock... make me an offer
