Exclamation * after market EXHAUST help*

hey guys, i want your opinions in

i would like to get my exhaust this week,

i was recently at active and they told me that they can make me one, but they will be using the e46 330 exhaust and putting it in, they said they would fit it right and all, but i am kind of skeptical on how it will and sound and perform, reason im leaning torwards this exhaust is cause i like the way it looks and the tips how they say active, and also i can bring it in tomorow morning and have it done by the afternoon

so my choices are active,MMW, Remus, or bmw perfromance

I wouldnt put that on my car.

I love my MMW.

Absolute city sleeper at 2-4.5krpm and it SCREAMS while at 6k.

Plus its dirt cheap.

sounds like you are interested in Active Autowerke... if so, go with it. It's a great setup - pricey - but really good.

Ur driving a 328... if I were you, just go with a muffler delete.

well the MMW is a fraction of the cost of the bmw performance and sounds about the same there were about 5-7 videos on that one in the MMW muffler thread which is on this same page. Out of those 4 I would go with either MMW or BMW PE.

Bro i told you about the active. If you're stuck on it, hold off until they make something for the e90. The performance is the best choice if you need an exhaust because of the warranty but the sound i heard is mediocre and its $$$$$$$. The mmw seems like the best aftermarket option though and the tips look raw. btw i get back on thursday so ill hit you up then.

Here is how it sounds with a cat and 2nd res delete.

And just the muffler.

This is, in my humble opinion, the best sound you can get out of a e90 without throwing over 2k in your exhaust system.

most absolutely go with MMW. its the best option for your money with a proven gain. I love mine and it doesnt require spending an arm and a leg.

Gavin does great work, and you could always pair it with his mid pipes. I have a 2nd cat delete with mine and the start up is very mean. the regular driving didnt change hardly at all until you jam on the gas. then it screams.

for the price its a no brainer. it sounds just like BMW PE for a fraction of the cost.

PM Gavin and ask him about it. He wont let you down. Most honest vendor on the forums in my opinion.

lastly, the E46 exhaust is shaped differently. it is longer than wide, unlike ours which are wider than long. so it could look very weird with an empty space where a muffler should be, but isnt. or is half there. if that makes sense? bottom line, I wouldnt do it.

stick with our chode of an exhaust and contact Gavin.

Thats what I told him. And active's e46 exhaust is like 2.5 feet long so it wont fit in the space where our exhaust is.

He got a core exchange program.

You buy the exhaust and give a $100 deposit. You get the MMW, swap it with your oem. And then send the oem back to get your $100 back.

As simple as that.
