It's hard for a 6MT to beat AT or DCT. The problem is keeping boost up during the shift. The AT/DCT will shift and the computer will continue to keep the boost up. Unless you shift and stay on the throttle you will lose revs/boost and you are done.

I like tuning / tuner discussions. I rarely get fired up or inflammatory so its usually rather civil from my end - I just always set myself up for disappointment because the responses I usually get are filled with parroting rhetoric. __________________________________________________ ___________________________ I am down to meet up for a little tonight and have some comparo's or just shoot the ****. Then i got a jb4 g5 board, and then a cobb ap, and ran that in combination to my jb4 g5. Car was much faster, because i didnt flatline timing between shifts anymore. havent ran the op since, but he has decided to sell the car, and move on to an e93 vert 335i last time i checked. still wants to be fast, but he also wants a to have a really nice looking vert! (wish you could have one without the extra weight penalty though.)

I would have started in a higher gear for that 40 MPH roll. The highest PSI for my stage 2+ Cobb OFS map is from 3300 RPM - 4300 RPM. I would have started around 3k and rode it out till about 6300RPM.

I thing that the jb4 car is faster. you cant loose a race by 2.5-3 cars and said that excuse. that guy has a quick shift a bump stop and a modified cdv. no shifting excuses please and race again from 60
