Anyone boosting 17+?
Do u think I could have a defective jb4. I had my friend that is a tech at BMW check everything. He even did a smoke test. Pressurized the turbo and wastegate and everything checked out fine. He even updated the dme and put a new exhaust in for me since it was rattling. He knows all the mods I have done. He might be thinking the the dme is not letting it boost more the 14. Cus even with 100 octane n map7 I still only boost up to 14ish. What else do you think it could be? Has anyone else with n55 have this problem? No boost or vacuum leaks at all. I need help!!!!! I need I need 17 psi!! Please lol

I actually have no idea, but wouldn't 17psi necessitate some other changes to the engine, such as replacing some key parts with sterner stuff so the thing doesn't asplode?

Well such great service from bms terry and the guys there. He's sending me a new one to make sure that it's not a defective problem. Hope I get this problem fixed

My car had no problem making 17psi with my Procede... and I have the stock downpipe/cat in place. Now, when I say 17psi, I mean 17psi peak... nobody's n55 is holding 17psi to redline... they all taper down to maybe 12psi by redline due to stock turbo restrictions.

i get ~17 psi peaks with my procede! .. post up some logs for us to see and send some logs to Terry as well. I'm sure he will help you out. Logs tell you everything

well map 2 is a 14 psi map so I would say you are right on target.. Put some 100 octane gas in and log some map 7 runs.. Thats what i am curious about because that is a 17 psi map..

103 octane and 93 octane 50/50 mix and map7 I hit 17 psi.

I have all the mods to run map 2 from BMS + BMS intake(not a requirement) on jb4 and here are my logs with BP 93oc and Nos octane booster. I don't know why you can't run higher boost with race gas.
