Eisenmann Meisterschaft sound

Ok, so I got Eisenmann Meisterschaft section 3 installed on my car. The rest of the system is stock.

The car did change the tone very slightly especially in the second gear. I find myself revmatching a lot more often now because every rev sounds a lot cooler. The car sounds a little more pissed off but it is still very quiet. There is absolutely no drone at any RPM. Under load it sounds almost like stock, just slightly louder.

If you want your car to be quiet and mature, this is the exhaust to own. Personally, I would like to make it slightly louder. I am debating whether to get full set of pipes from downpipes to mufflers, or keep the stock piping and get catted downpipes.

Overall I am absolutely in love with it. And more reviews will come once I have had this setup on my car for longer.

P.S. No pictures and no sound clips for now. I am not ready to show my car.

I ordered it last week, just waiting.

MMMM I was thinking I'd wait and see how I like it, before get pipes.

Sounds like I'm going to need pipes. As you said, you wouldn't mind it louder. I like a good roar ;+)

So now I have SR pipes coming, section 1&2. I will do the whole before/after comparison with sound clips and full description. I think the exhaust would be A LOT louder once piping gets straight and secondary cats are gone.

That'd be great! You'll be the first person with a full catback system with the Meisterschaft mufflers for the 335!

The sound between just the section 3 and adding the sections 1 and 2 is night and day. There will be drone, but the tone of the exhaust during WOT will be what you are looking for.

I'm looking forward to hearing your review once you get the SR pipes on. This is what I was planning on going with for an exhaust. I'm just waiting patiently so I don't get burned. I hope it sounds good.

You have the Race version. Eisenmann claims that Meisterschaft does not drone so we will see. If it does drone, I will install the high-flow secondary cats.
I am keeping my stock downpipes since they provide no performance gains.

I thought high flow catted downpipes (primary) would have 20whp gain? That's what UR and RR have been saying and proving it with their dynos...

From what I understand, downpipes add some boost to stock 335. Thus, the extra power. A car with a piggyback does not get much advantage except faster spoolup times.

I see... Thanks for clarifying! I guess since I don't have a chip yet, I'll be able to see gains from my dyno then.

Hmmm.... they add boost? I could see faster spool up, but your wastegates are going to work the same whether or not you have cats on your car. Can someone confirm this? I doubt that we would see boost creep on a stock car with downpipes.

I don't have the race version, but I think you are right. The meisterschaft is a bit quieter than the race.

They arrived yesterday and I am installing them next week. I have one of the local members who is going to come down and compare meisterschaft with his stock exhaust. We will take some videos.
