Suggestions Please OEM Performance Exhaust?

Until your post I was under the impression the BMW Performance exhaust was just a muffler like the RE Ikon. It actually replaces the last resonator which is interesting. This gave BMW the ability to really tune the exhaust, and get that perfect sound. Had I know that, I might have waited and jumped on the BMW performance exhaust. I do like the fact that the Ikon weighed considerably less that the OEM muffler. I also have a Dinan intake and think you really need an exhaust system to get the full effect of that mod. Congrats again, enjoy.

I'm wondering how the sound is compared to a stock 335? It's hard to tell but if it's as nice as a 335 (or at least close to it) I'd probably get this exhaust as well.

I drove a 335 coupe for a week and the exhaust note was one of the things I liked most.

Not sure what percent of sound the BMW Performance Air Intake would add but thinking about it, it should add a better sound when combine with the Bmw Performance Exhaust. After I installed my Ram Dinan it didn't really add any sound but more Hp and of course more gas per mile.

Just to clarify my question. How much does the CAI add to sound "with" the performance exhaust? Basically if I just added the exhaust and saved the intake swap for another day/month, would it be similar to yours? Although I have an E90 330 N52 I would it would give a sound similar to yours.

Yes it will give you a similar sound to mine although in order for you to acquire more hp you'll need the CAI.

I'm so jelous... I'll just drive home from work tonight with my little RE IKON.

I'm hoping that the new RR mid section pipes will yield me a similar sounding 328!! The Dinan is well worth it too.
