Exclamation Concerned on my commute this morning...

Hi guys, so this morning I actually used the heat. Worked great.

As I'm driving to work, I noticed I was getting cold...

Checked the vent and cool air was coming out but it was 73 degrees, and not on AUTO setting.

Didn't really mess with it, cause by that time I was at work.

Can anyone weigh in on this? It kinda has been bothering me as I'm sitting at my desk.

Thanks

OH, and yes the little dial was set to RED, so I am not an idiot lol.

Did yu check to see if the Recirc button was pushed. That could be a factor.

It was on auto i believe. Is the recirc only for cool air?

In my mind, I always though whenever recirc is pressed, which is separate from auto I believe, it recycles the air from the cabin....but I could be wrong.

Is the opposite side blowing hot? I had a leaking valve in the freon system on the driverside that prevented my AC from blowing cool air. Not sure what makes the heater do what it does, just a suggestion.

My heat didn't work right before my water pump took a dump.
