Cheap Macbook wanted??

Anyone got a cheap macbook kicking around?

My daughters older one has died, and I need to be able to whack the drive into another one to grab stuff from it.

Let me know if you have anything.

Do you really need a Macbook? You can get a HDD reader off eBay for £10.

I know, but she does use it occasionally, and she is miles away, so I want to get one, whack the drive in and send it back down to her.

Hi mate.

I've got a non unibody macbook pro from 2008

It needs a new battery (£30 from ebay for a third party one) but works perfectly when connected to a charger

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz, 15.4". 1440x900, 2 gig of ram. A pretty quick machine all told. Very good cosmetic condition. Comes with charger and I can leave OSX on there but I don't have the installer to put it back on. Trust you or your daughter have that. It comes with whatever the OXS before the newest one was (10.3 or 4.. I can't remember! It's been that long since I looked at the machine)

£300 and its yours! I'll boot it up and send over some pics if wanted.

EDIT: Just seen you don't even need the drive or contents. But I'll send it like this. It's a good backup incase you find any more severe issues with her current one etc ?

Thanks mate, I will bare it in mind, but she was really after a 13". Sorry, should have mentioned that.

I might come back to you on that though in the next couple of days if no one else has snapped it up.

I've not bothered listing it properly (bone idleness) so it won't go anywhere most likely.

If she did want it, would there be any chance of dropping it off to her on a Saturday or Sunday, she is in Sloane Square.

I would obviously pay you beforehand.
